Anthropology is the study of "us" everywhere in time. This includes who we are biologically and culturally. Anthropologists do this by observing current cultures, studying skeletal material, and in the case of archaeologists, by digging up the past. The Anthropology Program at Columbia College introduces students to the four subfields of Anthropology: archaeology, biological anthropology , cultural anthropology , and linguistics. Students receive a hands-on real-world approach to this incredibly fascinating field.
