To start your own student club, all you need is an advisor, a group of students interested in the same activity, and completion of a few simple chartering forms (which any of your senators would be happy to assist with).

The Cold Miners Ski & Snowboard Club serves to connect the riders of Columbia College.

To have fun writing creatively, provide entertainment to those in and out of the club via publishings, and to help people become more comfortable with the written word before they are thrown into the maw of the shark that is academic writing, or after they have been chewed up and spat out they may learn that academic writing is not in fact so bad. Alternatively, to have fun writing, learn about creative and therefore also academic writing, help people learn through creative writing that academic writing can bring the same joy, and to provide entertainment to those around.

The Columbia College Drama Club will serve the students of Columbia College with the intent of educating in the fields of the Performing Arts, regardless of a member's age, nationality, sexual orientation, or disabilities.

The Dungeons and Dragons Guild helps students to explore aspects of psychology, sociology, and interpersonal dynamics through fun and interactive role-playing games. The DDG builds teamwork skills while encouraging communication and cooperation, helping build and refine life long skills. All students, and those registered to the college, are welcome to come join the adventure.

The purpose of the Fire Ecology Club is to educate ourselves and the Columbia College community about fire, fire safety, and how we can better protect and prepare our campus, students, and our homes and families for the damaging effects of fire. Activities will include field trips, BBQ's, and training involved prescribed burning and other activities to promote a better understanding of fire and how to prepare ourselves, in the face of climate change, for erratic fire behavior. We eventually are leaning towards establishing our own chapter of SAFE here on campus, the Student Association for Fire Safety.

GSA strives to create a safe environment in schools for students to support each other and learn about homophobia, transphobia, and other forms of oppression. With a strong policy for acceptance, GSA is open to anyone who keeps a supportive attitude towards their peers.

The Mad Scientist Collective aims to engage STEM students interested in scientific discovery, offer internship opportunities, and provide speakers from various fields and disciplines. Intended to empower students from all backgrounds, allowing them to have fun, and gain experience within STEM fields. Doing exciting hands-on activities exploring different subjects and material including a variety of experiements, educational field trips, and internships. Furthermore, the club's mission is to connect students as Columbia College and build a strong STEM community.

The purpose of the Newspaper Club is provide easy to access information to Columbia College students as well as to provide a space where writers and people interested in writing and journalism to meet and practice their skills. The newspaper will provide information on other clubs, classes, research being done on campus activities and resources for students. We will remain open to ideas from members and readers of the paper. We will report all information as truthfully and respectfully as possible.

Phi Theta Kappa is an international honors organization that recognizes high achieving community college students. This organization is the largest honors organization for community colleges worldwide. Students benefit from this organization by professional development opportunities, participating in networking events and service learning engagement. PTK also offers scholarships and resources for transferring to a four year institution.

The Columbia College Student Veteran Organization (SVO) provides opportunity for support and empowerment of veterans on-campus. SVO hosts events throughout the semester for student veterans to connect and find peer support while at Columbia.
