Graduation Application Information

It is recommended that you meet with an Academic Counselor when filling out your graduation application, just to make sure we capture all of your hard work! The counselor will confirm that you have met all requirements to graduate, or, that you plan to complete your final coursework by the end of the semester in which you plan to graduate.

Graduation applications are located in E-trieve.

1. If you have met with a counselor in the past and have a current, approved education plan on file in Starfish, your graduation application will be directed to Admissions & Records for review.
2. If you have not met with a counselor and do not have an approved education plan in Starfish, you will receive communication via e-mail to your student e-mail account to make a counseling appointment to complete that step. 
3. Once a counselor has approved your degree plan, your application will be in a "pending" status until the final evaluation by Admissions & Records is complete (6-8 weeks after the end of the semester).
4. After final review, you will receive an e-mail to your student e-mail account notifying you if you are eligible or ineligible for your award. You will then receive a second email once awards are posted to your transcript. 
5. To check the status of your submitted graduation application, go to your Etrieve Activity.  Find the completed application in the list and then click on the "History" button at the bottom of the form.  

In order to be eligible to participate in the commencement ceremony, students must have a counselor-approved application for a degree on file. Students who have earned Skills Attainment Certificates are not eligible to participate in the commencement ceremony.
