California Virtual Campus (CVC) Exchange

What is the California Virtual Campus Exchange?

The CVC Exchange is an innovative, student-centered tool that allows students currently enrolled at Columbia College to instantly enroll in online courses offered at other California Community Colleges without filling out a separate application. The CVC Exchange is designed to provide students access to and increase success in high-quality courses to assist in accelerated completion of their educational goals.

What is a “Home” and “Teaching” College?

A home college is the college that a student is currently enrolled in at the time of registration.

A teaching college is the college that is providing the additional course(s) that can be enrolled in through the CVC Exchange.

For example, if you are enrolled as a Columbia College student, Columbia College is your home college. If you are enrolled in another college but take a course provided by Columbia College, then Columbia College is your teaching college.
